COSTUME DIRECTOR AT PALM BEACH OPERA

Nuria Carrasco Dominguez joins Palm Beach Opera as its new Costume Director in its 2018-2019 Opera Season. Nuria will collaborate as costume director for upcoming operas: La Traviata, Don Giovanni and Die Fledermaus.

Bringing more than 20 years of production experience from small scale opera productions to large scale opera stadium projects with cast of more than 850 people on stage and audiences up to 40,000.

Having designed costumes for Opera, Ballet, Theatre and Film and worked in countries such as China, England, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Spain, France, South Africa, Australia, Qatar, Egypt, Lebanon and US. Her scenic costume design credits include international productions of Operas Madame Butterfly, Carmen, Aida, Cendrillon, Magic Flute; and collaborations with renowned institutions such as Cairo Opera House, Timisoara Opera, Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera, Frost Opera Theatre, Opera Naples and Charlottesville Opera.

Originally from Madrid and based in Palm Beach County, Nuria is excited to join palm Beach Opera in

its 2018-2019 Opera Season.
